Tim Carr has been a key presence in London property since the 1970’s. His career, rooted in Central London's property market. He was a founding partner of niche developer CYZ and led the company, specializing in sourcing residential and mixed-use projects with a focus on transforming interesting but derelict industrial buildings and sites of architectural merit or significant importance and was a key player in identifying edgy urban locations such as Bloomsbury, Clerkenwell and Deptford/Greenwich and establishing a reputation as a ‘class act’ in a rapidly evolving and exciting market.
Creating modern, carefully crafted spaces to live and work, spaces that stimulate the senses and enhance their environment with an understanding of spatial awareness, functionality, and design integrity whilst establishing a positive life/work balance. One of the early leading exponents of warehouse ‘lofts’ in London. A forerunner.
Tim later formed Carrot, a boutique design-led development company continuing the journey of urban regeneration, producing modern living spaces that deliver sensitive, harmonious design and liveability, bringing an understanding of integrated urban mixed-use environments allied to architectural quality, The vision extends beyond conventional property development; it is about urban regeneration projects that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical, sustainable, reflect a deep understanding of the complexities of urban development and that enables us to pursue our mission of leading the way in urban living trends and our dedication to improving the built environment.
Philip began working in the property sector in 2002 for Carrot Ltd, a boutique residential-led developer based in Clerkenwell.
After six years at Carrot, Philip left to join Stirling Ackroyd, a City fringe agency, to work in their investment and development team. His key disciplines were land and development sales for consented and unconditional opportunities and investment deals comprising block purchases of existing stock and pre-built units.
In late 2010 Philip branched into consultancy specialising in advising companies and individuals in structuring property deals for mixed-use & residential developments, hotel developments, forward purchasing and unconditional planning opportunities.
